Robert Kellingsworth began his career in 1991 as an estimator and expeditor. He calculated earthwork, submitted plans, secured permits, and delivered bids. He then picked up the tools, leading framing crews on tract and custom homes from the Antelope Valley to San Diego. As a journeyman carpenter and foreman with Carpenters Union Local 209, he trained apprentice teams on structural framing for apartment buildings and assisted living facilities.

From there he moved into running projects. As a general contractor partner, project manager, and superintendent, he oversaw custom homes and commercial builds of 2,200 to more than 13,000 square feet, from excavation to finish, in Beverly Hills, Malibu, San Diego, and the San Fernando Valley. He later spent seven years as a restoration superintendent. In that role he led emergency response teams through water and fire damage and mold remediation, and worked closely with homeowners and insurance adjusters during some of the hardest moments of their lives.

Robert has also built sets and props for television and film, where the work has to be precise, structurally sound, and finished on a deadline that doesn’t move. He brings that same discipline to every client project.

Robert lives in the community he builds for. He has served on the boards of Westlake Agoura Girls Softball and Agoura Pony Baseball and coached youth sports through AYSO and the YMCA.
